I understand rationally that jealousy is perhaps not the best emotion to have after reading a competitor's entry to a writing competition, especially when the competition is a trivial thing. I know that the socially acceptable thing to do is shake hands and say good job.
But reading T.Rasa's Central Park Chaos made me seethe with jealousy. Why did I not think of an anthropomorphic animal action-adventure set in Central Park featuring two lovable woodland animals beating the shit out of each other!?!?
I am convinced T.Rasa is going to win the Labyrinth contest, and drinks to him if he does. I don't see other raccoons kicking ass in fiction.
Or do I?
I have some deep soul searching to do after this.
